The wait is nearly over!
January 25, 2012 - AKC asked for an additional piece of paperwork. This had sent to previous owner of Lessy in Czech Republic, it was signed and sent back, and was just now sent to AKC. Hopefully AKC will not ask for anything else and the registration will be processed soon.

September 6, 2011 - DNA sample collected and sent priority mail.
September 3, 2011 - Lessy's AKC Certificate of Registration arrived today - next step is to submit a DNA sample
August 25, 2011- Ruff x Lessy breeding certificate arrived from Slovakia
August 16, 2011- Lessy's export pedigree arrived from Slovakia and was mailed to the AKC

AKC Registration Policy for Rallhaus Puppies(does not apply to imported puppies)
Initially your puppy is sold with
limited AKC registration. This means that you cannot register litters from this dog with the AKC. If you become interested in breeding your dog later on, the limitation can be removed from the registration, and all the terms listed below will apply.
1. Your puppy’s hips and elbows must pass
OFA or SV (a-stamp) evaluation, and some training must be done with the dog. This means that at least a
BH must be achieved. AKC “Good Citizen” title alone does not count. Also, the dog must get a show rating of at least
SG.
2. When the three criteria above are met, and your puppy is at least
24 months old, I will remove the limitation from the dog’s registration.
